Universal Networks has developed several portable fibre cable reel ranges of harsh environment focused fibre optic network cables based on field deployable tactical and armoured fibre cables. The cables are designed to be repeatedly deployed, retrieved and transported and require a very different type of construction to cables designed for data centres or permanent installation.
