Role Title: Finance & Office Assistant

Location: Office based in Hungerford, Berkshire. Onsite parking is available as well as good public transport links.

Working Hours: Flexible, but approximately 4 hours per week (with potential to develop the role further).

Salary: £11.50/hour, negotiable depending upon experience.

We are currently seeking a Finance & Office Assistant to join our small, friendly team based in Hungerford. This part time role offers an exciting opportunity to join us as we grow our business. We are very flexible on days/hours, which can be agreed to suit the candidate. The Finance & Office Assistant will report to the Financial Controller.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Checking & reconciling supplier statements
  • Sending remittances for bi-monthly supplier payments
  • Dealing with supplier invoice queries in conjunction with purchasing manager
  • Maintaining log of credit card customer remittances
  • Analysing credit card expenses
  • General ad hoc finance duties to assist Financial Controller
  • General office administrative duties

Experience
We are looking for a highly organised, numerate administrator with keen attention to detail and the ability to work on a diverse range of tasks within a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a confidential approach to your work. Strong computer skills required, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Previous finance experience would be desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
