Tactical Fibre Patch Cable with Metal LC2+ Connectors
When standard plastic LC connectors just won’t hold up, our tactical fibre patch cable with metal LC2+ connectors provide a tougher, more reliable alternative. Designed for applications where cables are handled, connector and disconnected frequently – or subjected to tough treatment – the LC2+ features a full-metal body that resists damage, latch failure, and general wear far better than conventional LC designs.
An armoured monocoil breakout adds extra protection between the breakout point and connector, shielding fibres from crush damage and impact during deployment. This makes the assembly particularly well-suited to military, broadcast, and industrial use where equipment is regularly moved and reconfigured.
Paired with a military-grade Belden tactical round cable with a tough PUR sheath and bend-insensitive OS2 or OM3 fibre, this patch cable offers flexibility, high crush resistance, and minimal signal loss over its service life. Each cable is built to order in 2 or 4 core configurations and supplied with an individual insertion loss test report.
