Neutrik expands its fibre optic connector range opticalCON® by a version optimised in compactness and high number of fibres, the opticalCON® MTP® 24. The ruggedised and dirt-protected 24-channel fibre optic connection system is based on the US Conec MTP connector, which is an improved MPO (Multifiber-Push-On).
Due to the small and the robust design the opticalCON® MTP® 24 is the perfect solution for long deployable cable runs and point-to-point wiring. The system is based on the successful opticalCON® QUAD and is optimised for mobile applications in the broadcast and pro audio sectors. The system can be cleaned easily and is also IP65 when mated to protect against dust and water ingress.
The opticalCON® MTP® 24 cable connector is characterised by the robust all-metal housing and the heavy-duty strain relief. The innovative spherical dust shutter protects the fibre from contamination and minimizes maintenance. The colour coded cable connector (for Multimode and Singlemode) is factory made to the required length and presented with or without a deployable reel (LITE version is without a reel only).
The rear of the opticalCON MTP® chassis connector is compatible with standard MTP® / MPO breakout cables allows easy adaptation to fibre standard connectors such as LC, SC, ST.
