Every year, Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign unites communities across the UK in a warm embrace of support and generosity. It’s a day when cups of steaming coffee, delicious cakes, and shared stories help raise funds for those affected by cancer. This year, our team decided to take part and set up a cake sale in support of this worthwhile cause.
Our Macmillan Coffee Morning, held on 26th September 2023, was a great success thanks to the incredible teamwork and generosity of our colleagues and those that attended.
By 11am, our cake stall was looking beautiful, decorated with its Macmillan tablecloth, bunting and balloons and filled with a wonderful array of goodies. Taking centre stage, was an amazing Universal Networks themed cake, which wouldn’t look out of place in the Great British Bake Off tent!
By the end of the day, we were thrilled to see that we had raised a whopping £91.60 (including offline donatons), smashing our goal of £50!
We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who baked a cake, attended and supported our Macmillan Coffee Morning. Your donations really do make a difference. Together, we showed that even a small act of kindness can go a long way in making a difference.
We would also like to thank Macmillan Cancer Support for their unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those affected by cancer. Their tireless work is a source of inspiration to us all.
