Cat6a STP LSZH Patch CablesAt Universal Networks we’ve recently had success supplying the Oil and Gas industry with Cat6a STP LSZH/FRNC Cables, these patch cables are suited to this type of environment and other volatile applications due to their flame retardent non-corrosive (FRNC) and low smoke zero halogen properties (LSZH.)

Manufactured using Datwyler Uninet® 7702 flex 4p LSZH/FRNC cable terminated on both ends with a screened RJ45 plug and a flush bend limiting boot, the screened pairs are individually foiled and have an overall shield providing the user with excellent NEXT and impendance performance making it suitable for environments where there is a lot of electronmagnetic radiation and/or interferance such as hospitals or factories.

These patch leads are of the highest specification available, they operate at up to 1200Mhz and therefore far exceed the Cat6a IEEE standard. These patch leads endorse the old adage; buy well, buy once – meaning that these quality patch leads will bot only support esisting CAT6 and CAT6a requirements but they will not need to be recplaced to meet the demands of 10Gigabit Ethernet in the future. Finally, due to the flush slimline boot included on this cable it is a good fit for high density data centre patching
