Fibre Adapters

A fibre adapters or uniter, allows two fibre connectors to be mated together. Typically adapters / uniters will be used with two fiber connectors of the same type, but in some circumstances a hybrid fibre adaptor required to mate dissimilar connectors. Fibre optic adapters are used either within fibre patch panels and other termination units, or externally to interconnect pre terminated fibre cables. Panel mounting is undertaken either by screws or a retaining nut that screws onto the fibre adapter.

Available for ST, SC, LC, FC, MU, ESCON, MTRJ & E2000 in Multi mode and Single mode options with either a phosphor bronze or ceramic alignment sleeve for higher precision ensuring low insertion and return loss.
